XHTML jQuery Json.NET ASP.NET MVC sample page
Create a sample page using jQuery Json.NET ASP.NET MVC.
This page does an asynchronous get every few seconds to get
- number of active work queues, their names and the processing time for each queue
- number of products ready/completed from each work queue
This page needs to adapt to various screen size, from an iphone size the a pc size.
An elegant way to represent the case where the numbers of queues is to big to show in visible screen. Likewise if the products that are ready/completed are too numerous to display all at once.
A debug page to drive the various states in the ASP server so that the sample page can be tested. This means the ability to create the number of work queues, set different processing times for each work queue, and set the number of products completed.
The Json message back and forth from the ASP server must pass http://jsonlint.com/ without error.
The xhtml must must be strict version and pass http://validator.w3.org/
The attached JPG shows a concept. This looks boring, so feel free to present more professional concepts. Graphics not expected to be professional grade.
In addition to displaying work time and number of finished product, the sample page needs a way to allow the user to add work load to a specified work queue. A graphical approach is preferred.
Graphics need not be graphic art quality, but should roughly show what is intended.
The code becomes property of grabbag.
